Another Frontal Passage (by Tom)

This morning the weather dude said we're in for at least two and possibly three frontal passages this week. Suck ass!!

The first front is supposed to come through late this evening or early tomorrow. In preparation for the frontal passage, we took down our sunscreens and broke down the dinghy. Once everything was secure, we moved down to Malone's Helmut where we dropped the anchor in four feet of water with excellent protection from the east through the south west.

By 1 pm we were as prepared as we could be, so I opted to fire up the barbecue and grill us a couple of lobster and pine-apple pizzas for a late lunch snack. We ate them inside while hiding from the winds and watching our Sunday double feature, Mr Brooks followed by Daybreakers. They were both pretty good and I would recommend them both.

The matinée was over around 6 pm and we made a light dinner salad that we ate with the last of yesterday's bread served up as garlic crisps. The rain showed up around 7 pm and we battened down the hatches and called it a day. I set the anchor alarm in case we have any dragging issues in the high winds and then turned in by 8 pm in anticipation of a long night making sure we don't drag away.
