Departure Soon (by tom)

We were up and underway by 7 am this morning. The wind wasn't strong enough to sail, so we resigned ourselves to motor-sailing through out the day. We traveled in the company of about twenty other boats, all heading the same place.

I trolled a fish whacker the whole way but only caught a small yellowtail snapper that I returned to the wild. The Exumas dissapeared around noon as we waved our good-byes an then Nassau popped up on the horizon around 2 pm.Once we cleared into the harbour, we pulled in for fuel and some water before taking a slip at the Nassau Yacht Haven.

Once the boat was settled we took advantage of the shower facilities and then headed up to the Poop Deck bar for a dink before returning home to taco night. We called it a day around 8 pm.

Tomorrow we plan to head down to the grocery store at 7 am to get Amy some veggies and then we are off for the states. It may be a couple of days before we have another log entry. See you on the other side.
