Noisy Neighbors (by Tom)

This morning we moved back down to town after a less than peaceful eveing up north. The wind did clock all the way around last evening and into the night, but it was at less than 15 knots, which was apparently too strong for one boat's anchor as well as another boat's dinghy painter. All night long we listened to incesant radio traffic from the group that arrived yesterday until finally around 2 am I had to get up and turn the VHF off all together. Weak.

Anyhow, after we were re-anchored we headed in to the grocery store for a couple of things. After returning to the mother ship and stowing are purchases, we dinghied over to say good-bye to Bob. He will be here for another month before heading south to Panama, so we may yet see him again when we are heading south to Duncantown in a few weeks.

Back home we broke down the dinghy and made the boat ready to sil at first light tomorrow. Dinner was grilled cheesy sandwiches with bacon. To bed at 8 in anticipation of a long day.
